Review ~ Maybe Someday by Colleen Hoover ~ JMAC

Synopsis:
From #1 New York Times bestselling author Colleen Hoover, a passionate tale of friendship, betrayal, and romance.

At twenty-two years old, Sydney has a great life: She's in college, working a steady job, in love with her wonderful boyfriend, Hunter, and rooming with her best friend, Tori. But everything changes when she discovers Hunter's cheating on her--and she is left trying to decide what to do next.

Sydney becomes captivated by Ridge, her mysterious neighbor. She can't take her eyes off him or stop listening to the passionate way he plays his guitar every evening out on his balcony. And there's something about Sydney that Ridge can't ignore, either. When their inevitable encounter happens, they soon find themselves needing each other in more ways than one...

JMAC’S Review

5 well deserved stars.
Maybe Someday is the book that popped my CoHo cherry.  One of my friends happens to be a HUGE fan of Colleen (she might be her number 1 fan), recommended I start with Maybe Someday, and I’m so glad I did.
The first thing I noticed was how perfect Colleen’s writing is.  Everything just flowed perfectly.  After reading Maybe Someday, I actually was upset at myself for waiting so long.  I felt EVERY. SINGLE. WORD.
Maybe Someday was just a beautifully written story.  Sydney and Ridge are my favorite.  I love these two hard.  They start as friends who were brought together by the power of music.  Ridge is just the perfect guy.  God I love him so much.  Like really love him.
At times I felt so bad for Sydney and the situation she was in.
The writing in this book makes all the bad, right.  I’m not sure if you understand that.  I mean in a situation that is looked at as “bad” or something that shouldn’t be done; Colleen’s words comfort you in a way that you see through the bad, and accept the good from the situation.
God, I loved this book.  One of my favorite lines ever in a book happen to be from Maybe Someday.
“For her I bend, for you I break.”
I not only fell in love with this book after reading that quote, I fell in love with Colleen Hoover.  Well, with her writing J
Maybe Someday is a book I feel everyone should read.  It was nothing short of beautiful.  I’m so happy I got to read this amazing story.
Colleen, you have gained a forever fan in me!
